BIOGRAPHIE version française In 2006, Nicolas Gallet, Dario M and Fred Reyb three lifelong friends decided to make their own band, with one clear aim : change the world. The three musicians and Djs decided to use music to deliver a message of love, peace and spiritual harmony : DOOTAGE was born. After a few months, the band draws attention on itself by making a few remixes with a singular and specific philosophy : « give us your songs, we make them BETTER » ! In 2008, DOOTAGE releases its first single called « LINK », a federative theme based on the creation of a single link between the whole humanity. Famous DJ Carl Cox decided to play « LINK » immediatly. The song has been performed in the world's biggests dancefloors, and he got soon followed by well known other Djs like Chris Kaeser, Laidbake Luke, Laurent Wolf... In 2009, affected by conflict between Na'vis against Pandora's colonialism, DOOTAGE released « you & me ». The song extols the virtues of love and understanding between the communities. Though the song has been an international hit, DOOTAGE bemoans the fact that it didn't help in solving the Na'vi's problem. Nowadays, being conscient of the world's crisis context, and after having been fooled by investor Bernard Madoff, the band is back with their new hit « cash money », with the will of filling up their caiman banking account in caiman. Get ready, they're back... for good ! |
